About Us
Before founding Olde North with his wife Abby, Josh was an Eagle Scout who graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a minor in Finance from Michigan State University. Born and raised in NC, Abby graduated from Ohio State University with a double major in Marketing and Sustainability.
Josh grew up with a brother and sister who are both disabled, as well as two uncles with Down syndrome who faced significant mobility challenges due to spinal complications. This upbringing has given him a unique understanding of the difficulties disabled individuals encounter regarding accessibility and mobility.
Josh and Abby strongly believe that the industry has lacked the care and compassion that people deserve, and they are committed to ensuring that these values are at the heart of Olde North Stairlift & Mobility.
Over the past 12 years, Josh has held various corporate business development and marketing roles in addition to working with The ARC of Michigan as a Home Care Manager. He has extensive experience installing Aqua Creek, Acorn, Bruno, and Handicare stairlifts and pool lifts, and he served as a Dealer Manufacturer’s Representative for Harmar Mobility. He now brings this wealth of experience to Olde North Stairlift & Mobility.
